This
was kinda cool.
The
floors in the elevators at Vancouver's
Pan Pacific Hotel change everyday. Well,
at least the inlaid floor mats do. If
you’re hung over or suffering from jet-lag, just take a quick peek down and get
your bearings straight.
As
my wife said: “Whoever is responsible for this had better be reliable.” Most definitely a job with no room for ambiguity.
I’ve
been in thousands of hotel elevators in my life and have never seen anything
else—ads, glass walls, music, you name it!—that spawned actual smiles and
CONVERSATION between riders. Kudos to
the folks who thought this one up.
Small
thing, but as I’ve said before, the impact of Surprise is not directly
proportionate to the size of the Pow!
