Perhaps this is merely wondrous industry lore, but inspired by the simplicity of the message and its devastating effect, Newell Rubbermaid is trying to expand the act of hairbrushing into a three-step process as well.
The company's IM Beauty products has just released a series of 11 brushes, retailing from $24 to $40 each online and at high-end spas and athletic clubs, made to Start (detangle and dry), Style and Finish (that's a set of 'em at left). One scalp and now, three different brushes for it...at a minimum of about $75 out of your pocket.
Seems like your hair isn't the only thing getting stroked...
