The problem with furniture is that so much of it is the usual, the standard...and ultimately, the boring.
My wife and I recently re-did our bedroom, and while we found the hippest of beds (an elevated canopy model handmade entirely of wood and twigs by the Pennsylvania Amish. Seriously.), it was quite the Quixotic quest to find night-tables and other "storage pieces" of equivalent Pow! factor.
Should've found Judson Beaumont earlier, I guess. This guy creates the type of stuff I once only dreamed of...AFTER reading a Dr. Seuss book, taking in the collective works of Salvador Dali and eating some very special mushrooms.
Judson's from Vancouver, and you know there's something special in the air out there. If you can't find room in your home or your head for his pieces, he has put together a book of 'em, one that's as enlightening and eye-opening as The Secret...and way more entertaining
