Talk around the theatre at rehearsal is--pardon the pun--"buzzing" about how Howie Mandel improvised a bit after a fly landed on his head during a monologue last night.
"It's part of my new trained fly act," he explained. "Like Sigfried and Roy with their tigers."
Backstage though, the crew was amazed at how calmly Howie, a noted germophobe, reacted to the insect's between-the-eyes landing. "You know that thing's seen its fair share of urinals," one writer cracked.
