I've got Lene Lovich playing in the background (on the turntable, yet), the TV's waiting for the annual NHL Winter Classic to start, and I'm spending the first afternoon of the new year reviewing 52 weeks of lessons learned, trying to decide on my 10 most profound...or at least my 10 faves(and to confess, I had 15, and brought it down to 12, so consider 'em a bonus, not a cop-out).
It's not only a lot of fun, but quite the internal journey re-living one's collective thoughts, rants and emotions. I remember just where I was and what inspired each "lesson" that I posted. Even more importantly, I can see, with the benefit of hindsight and time, how much of this collection of learning actually resonated...and how much may just have been a passing phase or random shot-from-the-hip.
So whether you're new here and wanna catch-up, or you're a regular who will humor me, as has become a Pow! tradition, here is a compendium of The Best of What I Leanred in 2010:
